I tried, however they are persistently telling me that I have sufficient credit, and every time I HUCA they read the notes and ask me if anything has changed since I last spoke to them  >:(
Try waiting a week or so and see what happens then.

Come up with some point or emphasize some point that you didn't before.
Tell them your spiel BEFORE they put you on hold to read the notes.  Sway them to your side before the old notes dissuade them.

Such as?
You just need to convince them why you need all three cards.

+1.   Convince yourself first.  If you can't convince yourself, you won't convince them.

I tried, however they are persistently telling me that I have sufficient credit, and every time I HUCA they read the notes and ask me if anything has changed since I last spoke to them  >:(

"I understand that Chase thinks that I have sufficient credit.  To be honest, I agree.  However, I'm not looking for additional credit.  I travel frequently with United and would enjoy the benefits that would come with this card.  Would you be able to take $5000 of existing credit from my Freedom card to get this United card opened?"

You mean the same rep?
Yes, I mean same rep.
Yes.  My last two Chase 3BMs started off the same way (November 2013, April 2014).  It took some persistence (three calls for the third card) and some BS'ing, but I got it done.
Same rep?

Hi,
I've been trying to get a chase card card for a while now. I'm trying to start with the freedom, but recon is always telling me that my credit history is not long enough. (About 6 months. But due to being and AU, my score (TU, at least) is 743, but I also have 6 satisfactory accounts of my own)
Any ideas? Do I stand a better chance with the slate? (I know it has no rewards, but it'l get me into the family)
Also, When I go here, it shows that I'm pre qualified for the Slate, Freedom and Sapphire Preferred. Does it even mean anything? Recon claim, that unless I have targeted offer with an offer number, I'm not pre qualified.

Thanks guys

I just signed up for the United, Hyatt, and Marriott card. Got excepted to the United and pending on other 2. I called reconsideration twice and asked about the Hyatt and they both said I've had 9 new accounts open this year and didn't want to approve it. Any chance of still getting it? Should I still HUCA?

Yes. Do you have any other cards you want to close down or cards with a higher limit where you can offer to over the credit line to get approved ? Explain to them you don't need more credit with them.

Try SM. Be specific about which card you want to close and which card you're messaging about to get approved.

They turned down one of the cards in a 3BM claiming not more than 2 cards per 30 days. I already HUCA'd a few times and I can't say anymore I'm calling to find out the status of the application. What's a reason I can say I'm calling for? It's not like I can say I'm providing more information because they are turning it down just based on this rule.

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Just try regular recon techniques. Be prepared with reasons why you need all three.

Good news. After some recon, I was approved for my 1st chase. Freedom 3.5k CL.
I also applied for a CSP, but recon doesn't seem to help. They keep saying that the min. CL is 5k and I can't get that. Did anyone have success with them after such a response?
Also, when I HUCA, they sometimes say something like: "We see that we already explained this to you a number of times" or "We see that you've been making many calls to us recently". Anyone else get this? What could I do about it?

Thanks guys
