Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

A payment I made to chase was declined by my bank. (Some kind of security freeze)
The payment was not due yet. Will this have any affect on my relationship with chase?

Not sure, but cross-posting will have an effect on your relationship with DDF.

They grilled me on my business and then denied me. Offering to transfer credit line didn't help.
Why not HUCA?

Oh well. At least we know that you can call regular recon for business.
Thanks for the confirmation. I will be calling today too.

Of course HUCA. The next two reps both weren't able to do it. The second tried to transfer over credit but wasn't able to.

For some reason the nice and friendly ones are always the ones who can't help you..

I'm going to try again tomorrow when business recon is open.

Just canceled an Ink a few moths ago after AF hit.
Not sure what my story will be for recon tomorrow..

I currently have the chase slate card amongst some of my other chase cards, ink bold and plus, sp, and ba and the 18 months of 0% apr is almost over on my current slate, i am thinking that it might make sense to apply for another slate and transfer some of my high balances that i have on some of my other cards to save on a lot of interest, what are the chances they would approve me?
My credit is pretty decent although they declined my app for the ua card about two months ago when I did a 2 bm.
if i'm originally declined would calling recon help?
Calling recon can often help. Probably shouldn't play around with high balances too much

Mind explaining what's your problem?
I had a question about a Chase card, I put it in the chase thread. I had another question about an Amex, So I put it in the Amex thread.

This thread is for Chase Reconsideration.
Now that's a fair point.
However, I couldn't find a more appropriate thread and didn't want to open a new one.
Plus, people here are more likely to have the appropriate knowledge.

Just got off after discussing the application for ink plus. They couldn't approve it although my personal credit was very strong. I had written the Buisness as a religious school that opened this year and they said they had no way of verifying any of the information I gave about the "business". Also, my projected income, $35k, wasn't enough. In general, I was told, the Buisness is too young and after it is more established they would be happy to issue a Buisness card.

I think I'm just going to apply for it again today with some "updated" info.

It depends what your scared of. If you're worried about what that might do to your credit score, I don't know. That's why I'm posting this here to get feedback. However I'm really not concerned with another credit pull.

If you're worried about them asking why/how you "updated" info, the whole point of this is that now that I know what the system flags for review (after having gone through the whole application with recon, with him helpfully pointing out what the flags were), I can hopefully now get an automatic approval. I definitely won't call recon if it isn't approved.

Regular recon wouldn't consider my Ink apps as they're business apps.  HUCA?  Or wait till tomorrow?  I would still get the 70k bonus if my application was from yesterday, right?

You're just gonna keep applying for a new one every time you get declined ?

Don't know about recon. But if approved, you'll get the bonus.

Well not 'keep applying every time'. I want to re-apply this once.

Scared of "updating" info on a business that doesn't exist!
