I don't think offering to close the checking will help.  :)

Applied for Hyatt and CSP. I got the SP approved by closing my only card with Chase, a non preferred Sapphire with 6.5K CL.
Then called for the Hyatt, they said they can't extend extra credit given that I opened more than 10 accounts in the past few months.
They said they can't move credit because both the CSP and the Hyatt require a minimum CL of 5K.

Any suggestions?

They only require 5k to be opened, once it's open there's no minimum CL.
I would think that if you wait a little you should be able to grab 5k from the SP and get them to approve the Hyatt.
I try my best :-\

I thought I heard that once, but wasn't sure.
So the rep just didn't know about this?

Do you have any chase cards that you could close & move the CL to get one of those approved ?
Did you try all those at once or separate pulls for each one ?

Nothing to move or close.
Separate pulls over 6 months

A whole lot of recon.
To encourage you, I'm attaching a screenshot of my chase applications.
With each card I called a few times, but nothing. Until the last card, which they gave me 3.5K CL after a few recons.
(It cost me a lot of pulls, but I got in to Chase. I since got 4 other Chase cards)

Don't give up!

Nothing more than Dan wrote in his posts.
It really wasn't anything specific. Just asked for small CL to prove myself, how my report is great, albeit thin.
I basically said the same stuff all the time. When I was approved, it wasn't because I said something new, just my luck with the rep.

I DID IT!! The power of HUCA.
I called multiple times and had managers of managers call me back and finally one called and offered to move some credit from my BA which I'm anyway closing.
So I got 3 new chase cards this week
