Just like the miles/points games we play there is a cost to play. The benefit we receive outweighs the cost.
Although I think it would be appropriate to make a public service announcement. If miles and points games are changing the way you think and see life or changing your relationships, then it's time to step back. I am not saying that anyone is on the road to Steve Paddock levels, ch"v, just that as CM said "there is a cost to play" and it is worthwhile for each person to assess from time to time what that cost is and whether it's still worth it.
Same goes for posting on an internet forum (but I will leave that discussion for another time.)
