Yep, the service and effort of these guys was unreal. They didnt have to do it, but they just wanted to give a great experience... Our favourite waiter even came once to the bar during his break to mix me a drink, that only he could do.

Whenever you go on vacation, you can complain about something small. Here i found the perfect place, not one complain, even if i looked really hard. if i would go again, i would do the same thing over again...

So besides the 3 grands for the hotel, did u spend a lot over there? was everything so expensive?

did they propose u any activities? I know u said that u were there to chill on the beach and at the pool but just wondering what there is to do if I am the adventurous type... besides scuba diving...

they had some activities, like fishing, sunset cruise, visiting a local island.... some watersports, but once we got there we just wanted to chill. The place is so relaxing... My wife complained in advance, that she will be board there and took her laptop along to keep herself busy, the laptop stayed in the suitcase the entire trip. she didnt want to use it once... one cant even explain it, since you are stuck on a island and there is nothing to do, no shops or attractions to see, you dont feel like you are missing something and your brain goes on vacation mode. Its the first time we came back and didnt need a vacation from the vacation

Thanks a lot... I'm going in a few weeks (staying at waldorf) and am considering asking them about arranging kosher meals from Australia.. any info you can share? who to speak to in Australia, catering company who delivered to shipping agent.. they ship things in freezers?

Waldorf is part of the hilton chain and I heard from someone else that he had kosher food as a option at the hilton. my resort got a weekly shipping from australia anyway, so it was easy to arrange...They ship via air in a frozen container. If I had to do my own shipping it would have been much to expensive and clearing customs would have been very hard. Like this my food was just part of the regular delivery. speak to the food and beverage manager of your resort.
the catering that i ordered the food from was kleins in mebourne http://kleinsgourmetfoods.com.au/
The shipping agent of the hotel was also very nice and offered to personally pick up groceries for me from the kosher store, she went out of her way for me, so it really depends who your hotel deals with
