Global Entry/tea pre-check. License is listed at one address while passport is..

A friend of mine has his license listed as another address from his address he's living in due to insurance reasons and his passport is listed as his address where he's living now what should he fill in while registering for Global TSA pre-check? should he write that used to live in one address or should he just fill in one address or the address he uses for his passport or should use the address listed for his license?

I would say the address on his license since that is going to be his proof of address

I would say go with the passport. Passport trumps license in terms of identification.

now you do, as soon as you plug in the passport number and address comes up.
  It doesn't show on your passport but when you fill out the passport application you're filling in your home address.

Just went for precheck yesterday. They only needed my passport, they didn't ask for my license.

that might be true, but when you fill out the application online what am I supposed to fill out should I fill out two separate addresses or should I just use my regular address which is listed on my passport and leave my license address alone.

My license is also different than my current address. I used my current address for the address on the online application and since I checked that I'm there for less than 2 years they want a former address, so I put the one on my license for that. I don't think there is an address on my passport.
I didn't have an appt and just walked into the Cranford, NJ location and was out within 10 min.

Just don't use your license for proof of address bring a letter from your mailbox
(a real DDFer is gets tons of mail a day)
