What is a good price for unclogging a toilet? Thanks
$5  :)

Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Thanks, unfortunately that didn't do the trick

I don't know much about these things, but I guess it needs to be snaked or something like that

One thing you can try is tilt the plunger so it fills with water. Then try it.
A plumber will charge a service charge which I am going to guess will be $75-100.
Any family or friends that might be able give you a hand?
Something might have dropped in the toilet which will make it more difficult.

I had a friend come by with a snake but wasn't able to help.
I think at this point I think I need a plumber, I just don't want to overpay.

Overpaying is when you could've done it yourself

I have this showerhead and the holder keeps flopping. Is there a way to tighten it?
Or is it time for a new one?

Is there any recommended solution for dead end hot water recirculation?

Is there a screw there?
None visible.
I ended up winding a thin rubber-band through the gap. It's holding up for now.

I am managing a Mikveh, with the current filter setup using a Hayward S210T sand filter, with a Hayward W3SP2607X10 1HP pump.
We need to replace the sand filter housing, as it has a leak, as I am looking i see that you can get a package the S210T with a pump included, & i see that its a  W3SP1593 1.5HP pump, I am thinking of taking it, as I wouldn't mind filtering the Mikveh faster, but first decided to check in here & see if I should do it.
I do see that 1 is made for above ground pools, & one for inground pools, question is even though i need to stick with the maxrate super pump because its inground, can i u it to a 1.5HP pump?
(issues that i can think of that might be:
The maxrate 1HP is a much better pump. & it does the same job as the 1.5HP?
better quality?
PVC schedule 40 cant handle the pressure of 1.5HP?)
Also i see that the sand filter has the same item in Expert Line, is it the same thing? as online I can only find the consumer line. W3S210T vs S210T

We got a new water heater 3 years ago and they installed mixing valve/tank. Lately or water has inconsistent temperature (shower in the morning can be cold even though nobody used hot water in many hours) Plumber thinks it's the mixing valve. Should we replace it? Or just bypass it all together?

I have two 13 year old 50 gallon hot water heaters. One started leaking, so it needs to be replaced. Thankfully I have a second one, so I have hot water. I was never told about regular maintenance of annual draining and replacing anode rod. Now that one has gone, I asked the plumber to replace the anode rod. Plumber says that at this age it is better not to touch it, because just trying to remove the existing anode rod can cause everything to break.

Is he right? What is the best plan of action at this point?

I came across this yesterday. Has anyone heard of it? Any experience or insights?

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I know I need 2 of the, the old sink used really old copper ones that can't be bent (at least not easily) and I tried using them but they are too long.
