No; as currently, the TSA will not require children under 18 to provide identification, when traveling with an adult companion within the US...what about flying alone? They will need ID?
Or just show your global entry photo ID

Will a nj license be good for identification at an airport? I don't know if it's a valid REAL ID (will the issuance date of the license make a difference?)
yes
From the DMV website: After October 1, 2021, only the Enhanced or REAL ID will be accepted to get on a domestic flight (within the U.S.), or to enter certain federal buildings or military bases (unless you have a passport or another federally-accepted form of ID).
ThanksI saw that date from a quick Google search but wasn't sure if that meant that now everything is fine or there might be some problems
