Not sure yet people are saying it's for  hilton resorts as it's called a resort credit but guess we will know more when gets closer

Sounds to me like it's the same card, just revamped

What do you think... should we cancel our CITI cards in the hopes that we can get the sign-up bonuses on those same cards when Amex takes over?

It is. Amex sent emails to current card holders that it will be converted.

had the free citi hilton card. just cancelled as i don't want it to be converted to the amex card for 1. another sign up bonus. 2. i don't want to give up 1 of the 5 amex credit card slots at the moment.
