In what part of the bay area?

There's a Six Flags in Vallejo if that's what you're looking for...

There's a place in oakland called fairyland. I've never been there myself but my kids love it.

there's a bunch of rides by the oakland zoo. (you don't need to pay the zoo admission to get to the rides, they're right outside)

Gonna be in Yosemite today & want to do the coastal drive tomorrow. Where do I start the coastal drive? Should I sleep in SF tonight and start the drive from there?

It's a pretty long drive from Yosemite to the coast (IIRC) and the PCH is pretty long itself. Get as close to the coast as you can tonight (before passing out from exhaustion) to make your day tomorrow more enjoyable!

I stayed for ~$150 incl tax and parking in the Le Meridien SF.  In addition, I stayed during a stay at LM promo and earned an addtl 2k SPG points.

AFAIK there's nothing there, you would need to go to Palo Alto or San Jose.

Just wasted $130 at Sabra Grill ,the  food was just inedible and the prices are outrageous. the only decent thing they have is falafel balls and tehina.

As for Amba, the last couple of times I've been there I've been very unimpressed. (I think they changed ownership or management or something.) their food was not as good as it had been in the past. -And that's on top of it being very overpriced to begin with...
I was just at Amba last week, and the food definitely seemed better than it was when I wrote the above post...
