Sadly, Hummus Bodega has now closed as well.

The West Coast outside of LA is one giant kosher food desert. :(

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a place to go out of San Francisco (to which we are flying).
We are already planning to do Alcatraz and Golden Gate.
Looking for scenic places that we go with kids up to a few hours away in any direction, where we can stay for a few days.
Thank You

Update on the food-
I was in SF this week for a conference and ordered Uber eats from Hummus Bodega twice, the food was exceptionally good.
I recommended to others and they said the same thing. They thought I was joking when I said the shawarma platter was better than any I had in NY.
Large portions, food was very fresh, chummus with warm chic peas in it was so good. The funky rice side was amazing as well ( rice with garlic confit on it)

Agree completely and I'm at the restaurant right now. Eating it! French fries are amazing and I got to eat soup of the day which is pea soup and the shawarma is massive. You can feed like three people

I'll miss frena but not the neighborhood, hummus Bodega in Richmond is a normal neighborhood.
