Fleishig (meat) for both meals each day. Flo-Mo, as it is called, is on Mayfield Ave., across from the parking lot of Tressidor.  Finding the dining hall can be a challenge for outsiders but any student will direct you.

You should do the Alcatraz at night.  The night tour is more interesting.

Redwood national park is very nice if you have time for that. Napa is great if you are into wine can go to kosher winery there. Looking for kids activities or more for you? :)

Rocket boat is a ton of fun.
Drive down the curvy Street. Rafi will really enjoy that.
Golden gate bridge? Bike ride?
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Muir Woods is much closer and really nice too (haven't been to Redwood).

If you're traveling south, there's Santa Cruz Mystery Spot and even further is the Monteray Bay Aquarium (depending on what interests you).

Covenant wines is located (and has tastings - by appointment per their website) in Berkeley if you can't make it out to Napa.

Make sure to go early/late to sabra grill, when they are busy 5-7 sometimes they are just incapacitated.
Walk around pier 39 during afternoon after Alcatraz (maybe buy some parve bennjerrys) see the sea lions and the street performers? Where are u sleeping?
Trader joes has lots of good kosher food options (bagels, glatt kosher meat (I think only on west coast)) snacks Etc.

I forgot name but go to the other side of the golden gate bridge if you get a chance. Most beautiful views in SF.

Sabra Grill is located in entrance of chinatown and right off market street. Nice place to walk around, but Fishermans Wharf would be more kid friendly.

Sausalito. It's a nice and very quiet town. Further north Marin is really nice. If you're looking for some other activities for kids. There is jelly belly factory tour in Fairfield.

There's also a fun Science museum called Exploritorium. It's on the Pier. It was a lot of fun and I didn't even have little kids with me.

my kids (6 and 8 ) loved that place, can take the outdoor old school green electric train/trolley thing from the city or the pier and they stop right there.

Thoughts/critiques for a trip with Rafi? Too aggressive for 4.5 year old? Anything I'm missing?
Rocket boat and Alcatraz night tours aren't running when we will be there.

4:25pm: ORD-SFO 747 upstairs.
7pm: Arrive SFO, rent car, pickup sandwiches from Sabra Grill, go to Fairmont

11:45am: Take streetcar or walk to Exploritorium
2:30pm: Take streetcar to Fisherman's Wharf (Anything specific worth doing?)
4:30pm:  Take cable car to Sabra Grill
6pm: Walk to Fairmont, drive via Lombard St for curves and then Battery Spencer (and/or?) Sausalito for views of sunset over bridge
8pm: Drive to Fairmont after sunset.
----
7am: Drive to SFO for 8:40am departure SFO-ORD 747 upstairs.

Walk to Exploritorium - it's right down the block.

I also didn't find much to do at Fisherman's wharf but lots of restaraunts. Pier 33 was more interesting to me because they had performers.

We'll have an all-day cable car pass, so 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Too aggressive for 4.5 year old?
Perhaps a better question might be if it's too aggressive for a 30 year old

Don't forget to stop at Krispy Kreme on your way into The City.  When else can Rafi have doughnuts for breakfast except when he's away with Abba?!
