I believe Mollie Stone's in Palo Alto has a big Kosher selection. there are probably other options there as well.

Does anyone know if google does tours or if someone has an inside man lmk

Only tour you are getting is if you know someone on the inside, who will personally take you around.

I am planning a crazy road trip for a trip with the inlaws. The trip starts in Los Angeles driving to San Francisco then onto Yosemite, Las Vegas, and then either returning via San Diego or straight to Los Angeles. I am currently searching for hotels in San Francisco and they are insanely expensive. Are there cheaper options outside of the actual City? Any recommendations?

the Starwood (Westin) and marriott hotel near the SFO airport were much more reasonably priced, have very nice rooms and bay-views, and are located in a great location. There is no need to actually stay downtown at the 30K+ places.
These airport hotels also have free airport shuttles and a Sixt car rental on site. Palo Alto is nearby, too and priced better.

IHG San Fran (not Mark Hopkins) is really nice. -  I used my Chase night there a few months ago. It's also a several minute walk away from Frena (albeit through the same "questionable" neighborhood that Frena is located in). The Mark Hopkins is supposedly equal, and that one is closer to Sabra/Chinatown. Either way, an IHG cert could be a great value depending on the prices for either property.

I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but I know someone in Berkeley has been talking about opening a kosher food truck and going to different parts of the bay area every day.

What is a good hotel in the are of SF/San Jose or nearby - to make a conference? Large meeting room/ballroom with more breakout spaces? Looking for a nice place but reasonably priced.

TIA!

PS. if you want to make sure you get a ticket for the huge DDS@SF, this is not directly connected ;)

My links are about a guy in Berkeley (that @whYME mentioned) that's been talking about / trying to (crownfund campaign) open a Kosher food truck in the Bay Area.

You seem to have new inside information about somebody else, and we'd love to hear more about that.
