Stanford University Cafeteria weekday lunches five days a week and dinners Monday - Thurs. General public can pay at Florence Moore Dorm and enjoy the Kosher section. Fleishig (meat) for both meals each day. Flo-Mo, as it is called, is on Mayfield Ave., across from the parking lot of Tressidor.  Finding the dining hall can be a challenge for outsiders but any student will direct you.

I believe Mollie Stone's in Palo Alto has a big Kosher selection. there are probably other options there as well.

We did hagafen for tasting but tour isn't great. They let you taste grapes from vine can which was cool. We did modavi (not kosher) for proper tour.

Tried multiple days to reach Covenant by phone, voice mail, and their online form—no response.  Pretty disappointing.

After searching most of the Bay Area, found one KKD that still has hashgacha. Mountain View. Worth the effort.  Note also: they take GrubHub for pickup with no minimum.

Will be spending Sunday and Monday in the San Francisco area with my wife over memorial day weekend. We are landing around 1030am on Sunday and have a 1045pm flight home on Monday. Currently booked at the Ritz. Anyone have any feedback on the hotel? Suggestions for a better hotel using points? Where can I daven with a Minyan? Is it worth it to rent a car or rather use uber/public transportation? Parking at the hotel is 65 a night and it seems almost all hotels have crazy parking prices.
We will be doing Alcatraz on Monday at 11am so I have a whole Sunday and the rest of Monday open. any suggestions what to do?

BTW one of the best kosher options in NorCal and certainly the best meat option, Also the only option near Napa and Sonoma is touro university, they have a kosher Cafe located on mare island Vallejo California.

Hours aren't great but the food is frikking awesome and great variety!

Lived in CA all my life until 1995 and never, until now, heard of this place. I see it was founded 1997, so that makes sense. Thanks for this great tip.

but the food is frikking awesome
I haven't had food from them in a number of years. I guess it's gotten a lot better since then.
(not that it was bad, but I wouldn't have called it "frikking awesome.")
