Pars Kosher Market in San Jose, certified by the Vaad, now has a small eat in section (4 tables, first come first serve) with a short meat menu and ready made hot food. Also lots of kosher groceries.
Stanford University Cafeteria weekday lunches five days a week and dinners Monday - Thurs. General public can pay at Florence Moore Dorm and enjoy the Kosher section. Fleishig (meat) for both meals each day. Flo-Mo, as it is called, is on Mayfield Ave., across from the parking lot of Tressidor.  Finding the dining hall can be a challenge for outsiders but any student will direct you.

Heading down for 2 nights/1 day with my wife and baby.
Recommendations?

I'm looking for a nice hotel, preferably SPG for my plat, but primary criteria is price.

Seems like the food scene changes quite often, what's the current situation?

Jerusalem grill is supposedly pretty good, but it's about an hour south. Amba is just 15 minuts from SF.

Well I went with a few friends to help the rabbi for Chanuka and we had a bill there so we see there 3 times and the pita wasn't fresh, the food looks like it's being made in a yeshiva, taste like that too. But true the fries were pretty good

So what else for a full day?

I don't think my wife would appreciate Alcatraz. Boat tour of the bridge? Bike riding?

So I'm thinking of doing Fisherman's Wharf and a boat ride from there. Anything to do at night?
