Activities: Toledo - a day trip from Madrid to see 2 old Shuls. Can hire a tour guide (his contact info is somewhere in the thread), which is not cheap, or can take a train on your own. 1 of the Shuls (El Transito) is closed on Mondays. @Yehuda went on a day when that Shul was closed, and the other Shul was really just an empty room and seemed like a Christian organization now runs the center. Without a tour guide, it was hard to get anything Jewish out of our trip (other than an antique store that had some Judaica). But, people who have taken the tour (discussed in the thread) have said it was great! Recommended to go with a tour or not go at all (and ensure to go on a day when both are open!). Report in the thread that the sometimes-closed Shul has audio headsets for use, so that would help.

I am eager to hear what you guys end up planning / doing.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Has anyone done a segway tour in Barcelona? Musement has some places that offer 1, 2, or 3 hour segway rides that go around the city, beach, and olympic area. Any thoughts?

Just a heads up. All the kosher restaurants in Barcelona (delecias, shalom, kosher club) closed down except for Maccabi.

Heading to BCN. I have 4 full days. What do you guys recommend? All 4 in BCN and experience the city property (maybe even get a little bored) or split 2 there and 2 in MAD and end up with a bit of each?

I personally would recommend going to Marbella/GIB over MAD but also think you can be entertained 4 days in BCN

Marbella/GIB is too far and not enough time for such a short trip. I have them on my list together with Lisbon one day. Southern Spain will have to wait. But thanx.

Does anyone know about kosher food in Mallorca.  It seems that there is a shul and on the website it lists some kosher options....

Anyone have the answer to this?

Has anyone heard of this free walking tour or which includes the oldest shul in Europe?

Looks like the shul website gives you a pretty comprehensive history. How does it compare to the guided tours?
