FTFYIt has to do with preventing them from getting enacted.
I have no idea what your point is except to stir the pot during this tragedy.
No more so than your mention of the NRA
The fact is the NRA is against everything. The left ranges from banning guns to stricter laws.
And the right ranges from zero restrictions to stricter laws. The NRA is the opposite of the complete ban group than of the left. The big issue is that even among those on the left who say they only want stricter laws many are really only looking for that as a first step. That makes it more difficult for any R to join with them.
Who is this complete ban group you keep talking about?
with all the quotes. It looks like this has already been litigated on DDF.But in all seriousness is there a movement from both the donkeys and the elephants to ban automatic weapons only?
Short answer, no. The NRA will not even entertain common sense approaches.
What are you talking about? Its basically impossible to get an automatic weapon as a civilian
That's odd as I know a few that have them.

No. Has the law changed?
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Where is the thread for Legal Gun Murder?
Yes. About 31 years ago... http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2017/10/02/las_vegas_shooting_are_machine_guns_and_fully_automatic_rifles_legal.html(I even found you a liberal source!)"New, fully automatic weapons—weapons that reload automatically and fire continuously with one trigger pull—have been banned for civilians in the United States since the Firearm Owners' Protection Act of 1986. Their use in crimes is incredibly rare, rarer even than the use of semi-automatic assault rifles like the AR-15 rifles used in the Sandy Hook and Aurorashootings or the Sig Sauer SIG MCX used in the Orlando shooting. Of the 91 American mass shootings catalogued by Mother Jones that have occurred since 1982, not one has seen the use of a fully automatic machine gun."
Correct. Though, as the article says, they sell. For upwards of 10 grand each.
Ok that was a good laugh. I thought you were being serious but MM and MOO?
