This is part of my love/hate relationship with IKEA; they make awesomely functional items but then it's death by 1,000 cuts to purchase it.

It might still be in stock in your store. They only allow pickup from 4 stores.

 Does anyone know if the white ones are of the same quality as the others. It is cheaper list price and seems to be made of different materials

It could be that the laminate is lower quality (pretty sure it's all MDF or particle board or even flake board inside). I worked in manufacturing with laminates before and to achieve certain looks different materials were needed.

If it makes you feel better, I feel like if I have to move any of my IKEA pieces from where they are they'll just break into 1000 pieces

Could be the difference between having some plastic in the laminate vs. just being layers of paper.

Thanks for the update! So what wound up happening? Did you just go for the discounted price and shlep it yourself or did you work out shipping with them? Ludmila and I were wondering.

I called the customer service this morning and after being transferred 3 times and 45 minutes later I just hung up and decided I'll go to the store and call later to cancel my online order

Yes was definitely worth going in store. I get my mashkeh delivered from California (that's what happens when you buy in bulk)
