Boo Milts

You all know I've been boooing Milts for a while, but I hadn't actually been there.  Tonight I went for the first time.

Underwhelming.

Really.

We split a miltsburger on pretzel bun, and a rib sandwich.

The miltsburger is ok. Id rather a burger buddy. I'd definitely rather boeuf and bun. I'd rather metroklubs burger. I don't get it.

I understand the rib sandwich is not the original from before it was on the menu.  But at least try! The bun was from a bag. The rest tasted like the sauce.  Don't get me wrong, it's a decent sandwich and id have been happy to order it at Carlos and gabbys, but that's its level.

All in all,  not bad for out of town.  But why you NY ppl are all over it, that I don't know.

Rib sandwich has sadly gone downhill. Most of the hype was from before it was on the menu.
Did you have the brisket chili and cornbread?

Might just be me, but I found the boeuf and bun burgers to be inedible. Their apps are great though.

I thought so, re rib sandwich.

Took me years to get there once, but if I go back, I'll get brisket chili and cornbread; maybe also the brisket sandwich?  I actually like bouef and bun, the 2-3 times I've been.  Also like brisket sandwich at izzys (and everything else).

I am a big fan of Izzys but I have also been let down a lot by the place. Many times I would come for a late night brisket and it would be dried out and cold... very disappointing for over $40 a pound!
