You are correct, as a Diamond member we are pleased to extend to you a complimentary breakfast prepared in our hotel kitchen and served daily in The Dining Room. Update after a few emails back & forth.

I would be only too pleased to extend a spa credit to the value of $200.00 in exchange for breakfast.

At the GHK you can use the diamond amenity for a free cabana near the pool or a credit toward and ocean front cabana. Because of our kids we took the pool cabana, but a friend traveling without kids in low season was able to talk his way into the ocean front cabana without any additional cost.

Worth it instead of the breakfast?

Also meant to ask, does the diamond perk give 1 free breakfast or for 2 (per the guests?)

At the GHK, the included breakfast is the Grand Club, which is fine. On FT there is a thread where people have complained about the breakfast and gotten access to the buffet. We enjoyed the breakfast at the Grand Club every morning. It's nice.

The cabana was nice to have with young kids, but may not be worth it for most (unless you can get the free upgrade to the beach cabana).
