Had an awesome stay here as well. Two separate Virtuoso ressies with one being booked by a non-status member while the other was booked by a Diamond member. Virtuoso TA was able to lock in two Penthouse Suites. An upgrade to a 2BR villa was discussed as well but since someone in the family is handicapped and we didn't want to walk through the heat when eating on-property, we decided to stick with the suites instead. Would definitely come back here in the future since the service (except the guy at the RC lounge) was fantastic.

Best part was the Diamond member didn't have to use a DSU.
All the villas have butler service and golf cart shuttle anywhere on property.

The 7 pools and waterslide was greatly enjoyed by the kids, as well as Camp Hyatt. We live local. It was a staycation. Had some of our kids friends over.

Lucky you for being a local. Nice stayvacation options during the summer if you don't mind the heat.

Booked a std king at HR Indian Wells ($161) and used a DSU. Was upgraded to a 1500 sq ft 2 bdrm 2 bth villa with a pvt back yard and pool which has a rate of $700/nt ATM.

Off topic.. Please tell me you did the Desert Pipe?

The lox will already be on a platter by the time you get to the Club. People have reported that they spoke to the staff and have had a fresh package brought out for them (and it has a Hechsher). We didn't think bothering them just for some lox was worth making them opening a new package, so we just had bagels with cream cheese/butter.

Has anyone been able to replicate Dan's hot Kosher Breakfast at the GH Kauai from his TR?

Ok. I got pre confirmed 2br suite without using a DSU. And they were very accommodating IMO. Don't expect free kosher breakfast, though.

My experience overall - whether a 2BR came with it or not - was poor due to specifically the management and workers that were here during my stay.

Rude, accusatory, non-caring.

I believe those are all important things especially when it comes to being a diamond.

I did get a 2BR without a DSU but the way it came to it and the overall stay, I would've definitely preferred a 1BR with a great guest experience.

I had no issues during my stay similar to what you described and would definitely stay there again. I think other ddfers had positive experiences as well.

While I'm happy to see that others had a good experience, It won't change the way my stay went and that I'll be looking for other hotels that are close by going forward.

Whoa, was not my experience there at all.

Staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. Polite and went out of their way to see that we were happy.
Had a fairly large group with me for shabbos, would deff consider going back.

I'm sorry you didn't get treated the same way.

Is it possible that you acted Jewish there?

I booked 2 people there in the past, they acted polite and we're very happy. Not accusing you for anything but usually it's a 2 way street.

What does "acted Jewish" mean?

Even if he "acted Jewish" whatever that means, does it excuse the bad service he received?
