On the booking page it asks for a credit card and it assumes booking members name. Want to book a prepaid rate with some else's diamond acct(so i can apply his suite upgrade) with my credit card. Any tips how that can work?

Also, will receipt show my name on it as i need to be reimbursed by my company?

Since c+p wasn't available (although I'll keep checking...), I was able to secure a very good rate using a Chase employee corporate rate in Paris. I am a loyal Chase banking CUSTOMER, but am not an "employee." Anyone have experience using corp rates at Hyatt? What about using Chase employee rate? Will they ask for ID?

I booked over the phone so I don't know the exact code. The confirmation e-mail shows "Type of Rate: JP MORGAN CHASE." The rate was approx 30% off the listed "Advanced Purchase" rate on Hyatt website.

When I was on phone with Hyatt, I asked them if there are any discounts available for AAA. They said none in Paris. I then asked if there was any discounts for "Chase customers," she then proceeded to say, "there is one for Chase employees." I asked what the rate was and it was 30% lower than the advanced purchase rate quoted prior. I don't know if she didn't hear me clearly etc, so I played dumb and let her book....

There is a lengthily flyertalk thread about it... USA rarely checks. Europe checks 30% of the time. China checks 85% of the time. A business card with the corporation you are using will usually pacify them though... If a business card will not work, they will make you pay the full rate. Even if you check out with the lower payment on the receipt, they will call you up later and say you must pay the full rate.
