If it were just me, I'd probably fly. But my wife is scared, and we are travelling with an infant. It might just be worth the extra money for her peace of mind.

There shouldn't be any issue with security and safety for Jews aboard Turkish or in transit at the airport. Turkey is not technically at war with Israel. The animosity from Turkey has been going on for quite some time and won't get better soon. Next time support Israel or her allies.

On the grounds that the country is becoming increasingly hostile to Jews. I don't see how it's much different than return protection. I made a purchase, and that purchase now wants me dead, so I don't want it anymore.

it will not be 1/2 if they give you anything. They will 1st charge you as a 1 way which is more than a round trip. That is what i was told. I am cancelling my 2nd half of a round trip it is not worth the aggravation.

No worries. Felt safe on flight and airport

I've flown with them several times, and I've always loved the service. It's not even about the money anymore. It's the two free bags, never getting charged extra for severely overweight luggage, polite crew, and that casino game on the flight! The whole experience is better than el al. I just got a bit nervous this time.

they already cancelled a few flights today.
