hmm booked United metal with turkish miles but unable change ffn to united online(united site) and united phone rep also could not do it
please let me know what I can do

after adding on my FFN to the United ticket after booking with Turkish miles and paying taxes with eligible cc it still does not show free luggage benefit; United rep said they cannot do it manually.

any tips?

Have same problem, which is why it needs to be added prior to ticketing. Once ticketed, you lose all benefits.
Problem is that most reps “can’t” add mileage plus info prior to ticketing. This used to not be the case.

just booked another award flight and taxes/fees were charged in Turkish Lira (as shown on receipt).

other oddities (1) united chat cant pull up this reservation though phone reps could (2) cant prepay luggage.

this happen to anyone else?

first put record locator into united.com then you will get a united record locator
you generally cannot prepay bags if booked through turkish

U can always claim your a Mr.
In my experience flying domestic had no issues.

I reached out to TK to correct it. They put a rush on it. Between their rush and the 3+ hours delay of the flight, hopefully things get sorted out and the plane doesn't tip.
