First, a visa costs $30.
The city is 50-60 minutes away from the airport. It costs about 230 lira each way. So make sure you factor that in.

My tour guide knew about the history but I wasn't happy with him because of:
1) Personality
2) I like my tour guides to show me around the local spots. They should know the vendors. When I asked for fruit he wanted to take me to a convenience store to buy something.
His fee was $30 for two hours.
Thanks for the valuable info. Can you post contact information for your tour guide? Did you feel safe at all times? Did you experience any issues getting your visa or getting back in to the airport? What transportation did you use to get to and from the city?

I did feel safe at all times and getting a visa was easy. No card only cash. But you can get an evisa in advance. I used a taxi from the taxi stand to get to the city. Rates are metered. For the way back I suggest that you use Uber. The taxi driver in the city tried to rip me off but that didn't work out well for him.

I do not have experience with them at all, but these seem to gear specifically towards stopovers.

Next time fly in J. Ik some if not most people will think I'm crazy, but I'd rather fly Turkish with a Stopover in IST than ElAl direct. I love IST and the business lounge.

What’s ‘J’ ?

Does anyone have full list of kosher restaurants in Turkey and they're hours. Plus if they deliver to  Istanbul airport?

Suites are officially only if you have a stop of more than 4 hours.

How does one go about this? Just go over to lounge attendant and request suite and show proof of layover with 4 hour minimum?

Correct, they ask to see your ticket. Your ticket has both legs on them.

I forgot to mention that IST has a reasonably priced left luggage facility.

Can’t you leave it for free at the business lounge?

You would have to go to transfers, go to the lounge and then leave. I'm not sure if that is possible.

For the "suite" IIRC it needs to be a longer layover (showers you can still use anytime )
My layover is over 6 hours.

Layover must be at least 4 hours for suite.

Can someone please help me ASAP?
I called up 2 days ago to put 2 Business flights on hold.
Those flights are no longer available.
I have 3 hours to complete booking.
I am receiving error code online.
Call Center not taking calls due to high volume.

It doesn't seem like it was a mistake, rather they put the mr for Mister and ms for Miss at the end of each name. Although it has nothing to do with Turkish when you arrive at check in, I can't imagine they'll give you a problem for that.
