do you get to pick seats for free on turkish or you have to pay?

Need to pay on the cheaper booking classes
Do you at least get to choose your seat for free when checking in?

Student visa holders don’t need a PCR test as per the new guidelines but Amudim website is advising people to get one in case the airlines aren’t up-to-date. Any data points on Turkish Airlines? Thanks

FYI: Searching "JFK" and or "EWR" as apposed to "NYC" will increase availability.

Agreed, the a350-900 is the newest, sleekest, and most private (similar to Polaris) but I honestly found the a330-300 and 777 seats to be more comfortable, especially for sleeping. Wider, longer, very comfortable, and more airy overall.

I have been saying for as long as I have been flying in J between NYC and TLV that I prefer TK's 777 with no direct aisle access for every seat and less privacy over most other J products with direct aisle access for every seat.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Just flew with Turkish and a suitcase is delayed for over 24 hours. Website says “compulsory expenses” will be covered. Anyone with any experience? What can we buy now that will possibly be reimbursed?

Anyone noticed a massive decrease in flight availability to TLV for 47,000?
Yup very bad availability. Does anyone know why this happened?

i know that turkish is a little nuts about ppl booking tickets with other ppls cards
ive had ppl being asked by checkin to show a picture of the card used for booking and id of the cardholder
so im a little jittery about this

One further question.  If you book a Flight from EWR-DEN-OGG using Turkish mileage but taxes paid on the United Mileage Explorer card, what travel protections do you have?  Are you covered under MileagePlus?

How did you book from someone else’s TK account?
