Ua j ewr - phx using 12.5 tk went for shavous  booked both ways a few hours before flight. 

Way back more complicated since it was already 7th in their call center and 6th here, they said system cant access it. Took some huca. 

Most important part to have rep who answers "miles smiles line" not "international line" increases chances tenfold  even though international line reps claim to have access to same systems

When I called them they said they can only search/book Turkish Airline tickets over the phone, not any Star Alliance Partners. This seems to go against what everyone is saying on here.

Ideally I'm looking for a United (direct if possible) flight for the 32k pricing to/from EWR/TLV... their website turns up nothing for every date I enter, even entering dates in practically every month of this year.

It was also very difficult to understand her with the accent. Did I just get a bad rep and I should just try calling back? Or am I just in dream land and I'll never land those tickets for August now and needed to do it months ago.

First check on United if saver is available and then you should be able to book it online

Wow that’s scary, sounds like it’s really not safe now, I have immediate family members traveling with a short stop over, tried to talk them out of it  hashem should watch over them.

Not sure how accurate this is, or if this is a rebrand, since in Turkish (AFAIK) they are known as Türk Hava Yolları (which IINM translates into Turkish Airlines) and not Türkiye Havayolları (which IINM would translate into Türkiye Airlines - i.e. not in the possessive form).

In any event, I've always found it preferable to type THY.com as opposed to turkishairlines.com (and IIRC some of their old livery just had THY on it).

Whenever I try searching Star Alliance awards on the Turkish website, I get a pop-up that says “Error-BOS-52009”. Anyone know how to fix this?

Note: Turkish became extremely weird with their checked luggage policy.
