My pleasure! Enjoy. I really enjoyed Turkish and the airport with the lounge access was great. If you haven't already, and this is your first time on Turkish, make sure to read my TR earlier in this thread. Most importantly, enjoy Eretz Yisroel!

Did you take stroller on plane? Or you checked it in?

Wanna make sure that Turkish is reliable to get back stroller at gate, especially with a stopover. .

We gate checked it and got it back after a few minute wait at the gate. They did damage it slightly but were very accommodating and reimbursed for the full value of the stroller.

Thanks. Just curious what kind of damage and how did you get a reimbursement?

The canopy was a little frayed/ripped. This was in November and we're still using it no problem. When we noticed the damage by the gate, we showed a rep who directed us to the Turkish Airlines office to get a claim number. After that, everything was basically submitting
documentation via email. A fairly easy process.

Check on their website,  I flew with them about a half year ago you have 1 checked bag,  one carry on and one personal item.

I took them in November. I was allowed 2 bags per person in a seat I think. Not sure charge for extra. As far as lap infant, I had a bulkhead for both of the long flights and used their bassinet. It was fine but my daughter is a bit jumpy so it was a little annoying. Make sure to call as early as possible and get the bulkhead. On the 2 short flights it really depends how full the flight is because if it's emptyish you can sprawl out with the infant. I laid down across 3 seats to sleep on one flight :)

I booked tickets last week on Turkish to TLV with a 3hr 45min stopover ($585 for Pesach - thanks Dan!) and just received an email from Orbitz that my reservation had been changed and that I now have a 5hr 50min stopover, which is very long as we'll be traveling with 5 children.  Has anyone had any luck in getting Turkish to rebook you on a shorter stopover under similar circumstances?

Wow - that would be awesome as we are flying a bit earlier than I would have otherwise wanted to (the Tuesday before before Pesach).  Did you call Turkish directly to reschedule or go through the booking agent (which in my case is Orbitz)?

I remember seeing on DD main site that Turkish now has a promo that allows you to bring 3 pieces of luggage from JFK-TLV and vise versa... anyone know if this is true? Any internet link showing this? Tried calling a few times but apparently the reps dont speak English..
