Anyone know the policy if a airport was attacked and you try checking in  to your flight and it says flight cancled... My cousin is supposed to take off tonight from Israel with a stop over in Turkey, he said he can't check in (it says flight canceled) and no one Will answer the phone. Anyone has any advice? Thanks
Travel agent. They open at 11...
What ended up happening with your cousin?

What kind of travel agent doesn't offer 24 hour emergency assistance?

That's one of the main reasons people deal with travel agents (other main reason being discounts of course).

When flying ord-ist-tlv, do you stay in transfer areas? Any need to go out and back through security?

You will stay within security - you will be screened and then directed upstairs to departure level.

Yup. That's two incidents within the last few weeks. I've stopped over there before, but wouldn't now. At least temporarily.

attack never made it past the airport security where a transiting passenger would be. military coup could change all that in theory
