Anyone have experience booking united saver awards with Turkish when the flights are not showing on TK's search portal?
Call center says they can't see it and are unhelpful.
Has anyone had success with email?

These are direct flights, OGG-EWR.

Don’t bother with their portal. Call/email turkish with flight details.

Have you done email?
Can you discuss a little of what you tried?
Calling even with flight numbers didn't help, I tried twice.

Did you call a specific number?

The flight in first that I was eyeing is gone.

Has anyone managed to book the EWR-OGG direct flight or back even in economy?

There seems to be quite a bit of availability and I can see it on other award partners like Aeroplan, but it never shows on TK's site.

What does the 5th agent do that the 1st can't?
They both had the same pattern: "sorry I don't see that flight number, have a good day"

Does anyone know how to put a mileage ticket on hold online? The call center doesn’t seem to know how to do to much and I’m just waiting on a points transfer to my Turkish account and don’t want to lose my United Savor award flight Via Turkish points to be sold out.

U can only do it on the phone and u sometimes have to huca till u get a decent rep .

THEY DONT CALL IT HOLD, YOU TELL THEM YOU WANNA BOOK IT AND BY THE END WHEN IT COMES TO PAYMENT THEY HAVE A OPTION TO CALL BACK TO COMPLETE

when i did it i called them that i want to make a reservation for an award ticket.

it shouldn't be a problem since they officially allow it.

What is the most hassle-free way to cancel an award ticket that can't be cancelled online?

Call center is unable to process the $25 cancelation fee over a month now, in person ticket office is not really an option. Are there any known good ticket office emails or numbers to try?

same here turkish reps give me NY office but no one picks up the phone zero costumer service(obivusly not US type) emails bounce back etc...
i have in the paxt gotten answers by sending feedback on turkish site but im being shloved around now with trying to either use a past credit or reimbursing the miles

I'm wondering the same thing. I heard about a recent issue where the country jailed 2 Israelis since they thought they were spies or something? I'm assuming most likely everything would be fine but is it worth the risk...

I read a post from 2014 about someone's experience and it seemed quite nice. Definitely curious to hear about a much more recent experience.

I flew with TK for sukkot, didn't have any concerns, and was very happy with my flights as usual

i have flown with them manty many times since 2014 never had any issues or even heard of anything

If you are Israeli I would be very careful in Turkey. Russia level or more. If they have any excuse they can turn you into an international incident.
Of course if you don't leave the airport it's better but I would still be nervous.
