when booking a turkish mileage ticket, if i use a 3rd party credit card to pay the fees, is that an issue as in with aa?

Recently on two separate tickets they made me show the card at check-in. This was disclosed right after purchase that I will need to present the card when we check in. And this actually happened in the airport. The rep in the airport was also shocked I hadn't seen this before.

These tickets were booked very close to travel date

anyone have an idea if Turkish is more forgiving on the amount of carry-on baggage items items permitted for business class? the website shows two 8kg piece + 1 personal item.

When booking United flights using Turkish miles, you will have to pay for luggage even when using a Chase United card + having your mileage plus number attached to reservation prior to purchasing.

However, the good news is that I've had success emailing United airlines direct asking for a refund as well as arguing at the time of check-in that i qualify for no fee baggage. Be warned that the latter process can take some time.

Are you using the Star Alliance link?

I am having the same issue. I have been trying for several days, with different routes and destinations. I am logged in and then search via the star alliance search. No matter how I search I get "Flight not found on the selected date and route. You can search for a new flight by changing this information. If you are searching for a repatriation flight you can get more information via Turkish Airlines Call Center."
Can anyone search and find any flight so that I can try it on my side and see if I can replicate it and find the same flight? Perhaps I need to have points in my account before it will show me any star  availability? Any other ideas? Much appreciated.

Same here. I have been searching many domestic flight om TK with star alliance awards, and finding very limited availability if any. This is even in Jan '23. Could they have exhausted all their inventory already due to pent up demand?

Booked via the JFK sales department and they didn’t deduct any points or charge the card, they said I can call back in to pay anytime before the flight because their system is down. Seems like a nice way to hold a flight without the points, but is there any risk the flight won’t ticket?

is there  an advantage to book 3 tickets directly on Turkish air website? for $808 per ticket, or book it on momondo.com for $731 per ticket

The first award ticket can only be issued under your name. If you want to have it issued for a loved one, please contact the nearest sales office.

I see a flight on united JFK-VIE-FRA-KRK for 77k in J on July 4, I basically wanna get to VIE and it's only available this way, would I be able to book this on Turkish? I tried 3 times and the agent doesn't see this flight, would lifemiles or air Canada have it? Online no one has it, any help is appreciated.
