I have a large credit on Turkish from cancelled flights in pst. Anyway to use it on partner airlines?

If this is real, especially brutal for Israel flights. From 94k for roundtrip business to 93k for one way

Even if the chart is real, the additive pricing is just an assumption for now.
The additive pricing isn’t just an assumption. It’s explicitly written there. And the Star Alliance chart is the same as the additive pricing (I got the 93k from that chart)

The system is still pricing according to the old chart though. Still a window to sneak in last minute tickets

FM: The Turkish Miles & Smiles site now says that “You can view award ticket Miles values valid until February 15, 2024, from the links below” before the links to the “old” award charts. While the wording doesn’t explicitly say this, I take that to mean that the current “old” award pricing is valid for about one more week and the “new” award chart will take effect on or around February 15, 2024.

Correct, but if they also killed connecting flights, that’s a significant devaluation.

Ironically I just booked a flight from London to LAX in business for 45k points. This would have cost $10k+.

I wonder how much revenue they made for selling miles to Citi/Cap1/Marriott, do they realize this will now go down by about 90%?

They lost money on every redemption, but made up for it in volume.

If they lost money on every single redemption then how would doing more redemptions suddenly make it profitable and not cause them to lose even more money?

If this rev stream was indeed significant, we can only hope that they'll reverse some of this (additive pricing for example) when they see points transfers drops like a rock.
