Re El Al/Delta, the past few years El Al has had a sale Cyber Monday which usually gets followed shortly after by United and Delta.

Haven't flown them myself but heard only good things from friends and clients. Recently had a group of 80 people on one of their flights and they were very good at dealing with everything.
