I right now have 5 and 6 on the other side with a few bills stuffed in on the side, it's not going anywhere it's nice and snug. it's a great question, just took out my wallet and tried it with four or five cards it definitely holds them but it feels like they will fall out at one point if you hold it upside down and Shake It, I wouldn't recommend it for only 4 -5 cards unless you think you'll be putting more in the future then go for it.

the material is great even when you stick in a load of cards and then decide you don't need that many in, the material  adjusts to the new amount of cards you put in your wallet.
 The wallet is not made to be suctioned tight with having no cards inside, it's designed to have enough room to put in 3/4 cards In each side at the minimum, with those minimal amounts the wallet we'll stay fine and snugg.
