OneTab & Session Buddy for Tab Maanagement
« on: March 08, 2015, 12:51:53 PM »
Do you find you just have a a ton of tabs open at once? Anyone use OneTab or Session Buddy to manage browser tabs?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I use Chrome so...

Is that a built in feature to Firefox or an extension?

And I like that. It means one less extension to slow everything down :).

It's one of the reasons I use FF over chrome.

From what I remember there are tons of extensions for both browsers - and some work better than others.

Has does the DDF crowd brake on Chrome Vs. Firefox? I added a poll.
I've red that Firefox has a much greater variety of extensions.

Yes! I like chrome in general but do find myself with way too many tabs always open. Any good solutions that don't require me switching to a different browser?

OneTab has permission to to see all your data on all websites, Session Buddy only has permission to see your history.

ETA: Tabs Outliner is somewhat like OneTab but doesn't require you to give them access to all your browsing data.

Since this thread was last updated, Firefox Tab Groups became an extension instead of built in and now doesn't work at all in the new version. Does anyone have any alternatives? I see some with potential but nothing working just yet.
