I'm not sure I see this as such a great value.

Many of us can routinely get Starbucks gc's at >50% discount (like through various Amazon promos or groupons).

That puts a value of $10 on the $20 reload.

300 stars get you 2.4 drinks. If you estimate that you'll redeem this for drinks that retail for $6 each, that's puts a value $7.20 on the 300 stars.
(2.4 drinks x $6/drink x 0.5) = $7.20
(The last factor on the left side of the equation is due to the 50% discount on Starbucks gc's.)

Seems like you're paying $20 for $17.20 of value.

In fact, I'll pay for stars too. If you're not doing this deal, you can buy a starbucks card between $18 and $20 value, add $20 and I'll pay cost for the account. So you can make a couple cc points and whatever discount you got on the original GC. Will do this 5 times, pm if anyone interested.
