i'm aware that with alliance partners the checked bag policy goes by the rules for the longest leg of the itinerary.   what about with ly and aa, the same?     (business ly is 3x70 pounds and biz aa is only 3x50 pounds)

anyone??   elal to jfk and a week later on aa to mia.   can i check three 70 pound bags?
