I booked a few flights for this summer on my preferred. If I downgrade now will I lose my Travel Protection for those flights?
I'm  pretty sure the fine print says you must have the card at the time.

I'm not eligible to sign up for the SP for another year or so, and I am in need of CDW in Israel. Is it worth it for me to temporarily upgrade a Freedom card to SP just to get the CDW waiver?
There are a few other cards with CDW.  United for example. You can get a different card with the benefit.

I'm striking out trying to find it. Which United card offers CDW for Israel, and are there any others?

Why wouldn’t you get reserve and be eligible for $300 travel credit as well?

When I got the card in 2021 with the 100,000 signup offer, I applied in branch and they waived the first annual fee without even asking
Is that happening now?

My wife got the Sapphire Preferred in May 2023, so the AF isn't due for quite a while. I have the CSR, so the CSP is useless. She also has a Freedom and a Freedom Flex. How would Chase react to a request to PC to another Freedom Flex? This quarter's PayPal is too good not to have another Freedom Flex.

Chase doesn't care about you having multiple CFFs (or Freedom Visas for that matter, and this way you can keep your Visa card number if that's worth anything to you). What they do care about is you downgrading a card within a year of opening it (and according to their interpretation of the CARD act, it is illegal). Wait until your AF hits at least for the second time before downgrading it. If you really want another CFF, consider PCing either her CFU or your CSR to that for now. You can always PC that card back to it's current form in the future.

Edit: Just realized you said Freedom and Freedom Flex. In that case you obviously have no benefit from PCing that card, but everything else I wrote still applies.

Hi!

If I paid only the minimum due amount and the next day paid off the remaining statement balance will I still be able to get the signup bonus next month?

Also will I be charged any interest or trailing interest?

Actually, we both have Freedom Unlimited (and Ink Unlimited) as well, so we PC'd both CFUs to Freedom Flex. Thanks for giving me the idea. We now have two Freedoms and four Freedom Flexes. When they bill the AF for the CSP, we'll PC that to another Freedom Flex.

Unless someone has a more direct answer.
Call. The reps are nice. Also, you can ask for any interest and the late fee to be excused,  because  - it's a new card and - you haven't put it on autopay yet - you paid as soon as your realized, etc.
