My cheapest option was to transfer in 1000 Chase Ultimate Reward points.

Any easy way to extend expiration?
Any data points on if Marriott is extending point expiration date due to Covid-19? (Called them and they said no automatic extension but they'll put in a request.)

Ok, I got it - don't rely on phone reps.
But she said she checked my account and the points are expiring soon.
Doesn't that mean it says so in their computers?
I actually read your post which why I called them to ask what the new expiration date is.

Marriott points expired. I was not provided any notice or warning. Already almost 3 months back. It seems there are magic words to tell the agent to get them reinstated. Anyone have info on this?

My points expired in February but I have a car rental from January. A retro credit was processed by Hertz.
Question- will those points be dated back to Jan rental thereby getting back all my points or will it be dated when retro credit was applied?

Just realized my Bonvoy expired. Anyone have a Hertz car rental less than 6 months, but before 9/27 I can use?

In case this helps anyone I found some Marriott lurkers on Flyer Talk and one generously reinstated my points. They can be contacted @ marriott.bonvoychampion@marriott.com
