Avoid Euronet ATMs at tourist sites. The ATM "exchange guarantee" is a scam and hidden fee that should be avoided.

Which ones do you have besides R' Shayale and the Yismach Moshe? You can stop in Mad and in Liska.

Let me ask you this: Who is R'Shayele ZY"A without Liska?

Know your history :)

And Mad is the youngest talmid of the Chasam Sofer (Kol Aryeh) plus his einkelach (Shimloe Ruv). All big Rabbonim. They wrote many important seforim, such as Kitzei HaMateh.

They know the students and not the rebbeim.  ;D ;D

Was at the Kol Aryeh last year. Never been to Liska. Its dangerous due to gypsies there. Just be careful if you go.

I've heard that from someone else as well. What's with the gypsies. I never had a problem yet. The kids approached me for money. I made sure to ignore them and not even look at them.

Well one set of grandparents are from Sighetu Marmației (Sighet) and Muckacheve while the other is from Khust and Nyzhni Vorota (Veretzky).
Do I qualify in your opinion?

Technically yes, practically no. They spoke yiddish at home, im assuming. Not Hungarian. Huge difference. Theyre carpathian for the most part. Chust, Sighet/Marmarush and Munkatch are all carpathian towns and Veretzky is slovakian leaning towards polish chasidim. So not Hungarian per se.
