Restaurants. Why would you consider bringing food in the first place?

If I bring food at least it'll be good. I haven't heard many good reports on the restaurants especially being that there overpriced....unless I'm mistaken.

One, I did not find them to be overpriced. Two, the food is not bad at all. I'm not going to say its amazing, however, they're goulash is pretty good.

Oh that's very encouraging! I guess I was misinformed.

The food is not bad and it is not overpriced - depends which restaurants you choose. There is a butcher as well. The kosher places are within a short walking distance to Boscolo.

Agreed on both counts. I preferred Hanna over Carmel, menu is similar but Hanna is cheaper. Large portion of goulash + home-made noodles is approx $11 (no tip needed). V large pizza (enough for 2) is $5 or so. Restaurants very convenient for central budapest.
