How are the apartments? Are you referring to chabad apartments?
The apt was nice but the a/c was not great. However proximity to shul and food was great.
Not sure. I believe the address was at Wesselényi u. 4.

I know this is in response to a post from 2 months ago...

10 years ago Carmel was not kosher. It has a sign the said in hebrew that it was not kosher. The location is the same so people who havent been there in a while are a bit confused. R' Oberlander is a very reliable person in all aspects. Had the opportunity to travel with him many times.
Thanks. I do remember being warned that's it's not reliable. I guess that's the story.

It's choice between Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi, so I say go with Hana as food is more heimish.

IIRC there's a small shop near the Kazinzky shul that sells milk too.

Stores? I don't think so. Shabbos ends about 8:30 nowadays.

Very simple and easy, things to be aware:
  • Make sure you get automatic if you don't know manual
  • you need to buy a tool pass or the rental will charge you
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

There is Hachnosas Orchim in Madd which should be the closest. And also in Eehel.  You should really stop by in Liska if you're going to Kerestir. It's 10 minutes away and you might as well respect R'Shayele's Rebbe.

That's new.
There are two Hachnosas Orchim houses in Kerestir that serve meals all year around. Last week they served fresh rolls, vegetable soup, salad, beef and ferfal and even a dessert.

Both are new.
