I for sure can't go, but if I had even an inkling that I could go I wouldn't worry about the 28.50 and instead book it and worst case lose out.

I just got a voice mail from Radisson that they are canceling my 8 reservations of 3 day segments, 4 in September and 4 in December. What can I do now? will they give me compensation if I already bought non-refundable tickets to Cancun?

You think they wont realize that the date on the receipt is today/after he was notified that his reservation  was canceles?
