You only need a wire from the computer to one screen and then one screen to the other
Great thanks

I didn't know you could do that. Cool!

Most monitors sold today are referred to as widescreen, and have an aspect ratio of 16:9 (ie, the ratio of the width of the monitor to the height of the monitor is 16 to 9). What you're likely looking for is a monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio. You're not likely to find anything as big as 25"-27" in that ratio though.

Out of curiosity, why do you prefer non-widescreen?

The program I use, when using a wide screen I have to scroll down.

Ok so what can I find in 24"? I love the 24" Dell Ultra Sharp (costs around $200) since we have one in the office but I don't want to spend so much on a 24".

If you're still talking about non-widescreen monitors, you're not likely to find anything larger than 19". You're much better off finding a widescreen that has a pivoting stand so that you can turn it vertically. You can start here, and add other filters:

Why?
If you're worried about vertical space, you get even more vertical real estate by turning a regular widescreen, which is called pivoting. Instead of a 'landscape' view, you get a 'portrait' view. A 24" widescreen will give you 21" of vertical viewing space when in 'portrait'.

Plenty of deals have been posted, it really just depends on how high end and/or what features you wanna go with.

Here's a deal from DDMS that was posted yesterday, but remains at the same price:

I can't tell you about Samsung, but Viewsonic makes great monitors, they also have audio built in (although the quality of the audio is pretty lousy)
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
