I am in hatzolah and my unit # is q274.
Y dinovitzer has been myself and my friends pen name for many years (and I needed to change from jackness for obvious reasons)
Jack was taken and my name is yaakov, so I just added the ness and woolah- jackness was created

Cant make up your mind?

well there was a time when my nickname was steeeve ( stretch the 'e' sound) and i was quite egotistical, so it's a take on "momma knows best"

Hi, my name is Moishe, and I'm an aDDict.

Oh, sorry, wrong thread...

But seriously, I have several dozen nieces and nephews, bli ayin hara, who all call me "Uncle Moishe" (well, the ones who are old enough to talk do, anyway). Being that I am of Hungarian descent, I went with "Moishe bácsi" here on the forums, but adapted the more Boro-Parky, phonetecized spelling of "batchy" for those among us not blessed with accented characters (plus, that spelling is just easier to read).

That's my story... What's yours?

When I signed up l just used my first name and last name initial, after I realised its also my screen name I changed to L'Chaim (as Chaim is my first name, duh) and I was surprised that it wasn't taken yet...

I like this thread similar to the DDF demographics.
My names pretty simple my nickname as a little kid 'rots' some of my friends still call me that today!

and when I was in high school on the basketball team we got to choose numbers and I chose 5, being a huge net fan, and jkidd fan, I loved to play just like him, it's all about sharing the ball! (no worries i think he's a looser

but still a great pg)

DH's name is Zev. It's a screenname I picked up when we were engaged/first married, namely because it's 6 characters, fairly self-explanatory, and is usually not taken.
