if you want a better reasoning it's for you to know it was delivered, as you can see it was left on your porch and you can tell someone to take it in.

You can get emails/texts when your package is delivered, which works too.

forgot to mention that wasn't a regular delivery it was same day delivery.

Few weeks ago got delivery notice, but no pkg. At my parents house.  I look online, and there's a picture,but that's not my parents' door. Lol

Amazon refunded.
