If you got the offer, then go for it if you can meet the spend. They're giving you an extra 4points per dollar on top of the regular spend if you spend the 3,750. It's a good deal.

Just applied for this card. They pulled TU and I was denied

They said I had too many recent applications/opened accounts. I tried calling twice but they wouldn't budge.
I explained that my CR has no delinquencies, a fair amount of history, good score etc. but to no avail.

Is this card known to be a hard card to get approved for? (I've never had this problem...)
Should I even bother with HUCA?

if you call them to reconsider they'll pull your credit again without even telling you. it happened to me on two separate occasions. the second time i told them specifically not to make another pull and they still did. even worse, the second pull was from experian.

I received this offer too by email. And it softens the blow of being pulled twice (after i got approved for personal and denied for business i called to recon. and they pulled credit again)
