Barclay will often give people the non-premier version which only comes with 10K bonus points if your income and/or score isn't high enough.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I got the Premier. I think I'd churn this to get the points again, to punish them since they wouldn't give me the 60k (I qualified for 50k).

So they will give you a different card than the one you applied for? That's a dirty trick.

Dirty or not, CC companies do this all the time.

Yup, when I applied for this card in the past for my wife they gave her a lower card with only a 10K bonus.
Dirty indeed.

Chase does this with CO OnePass Plus, but they still give you the same signup bonus.
I don't think other banks play this game that Barclays plays with giving a much lower signup bonus if they feel like it.

BofA tried to do that with my recent trifecta there, I ended up having to close an older account with them. They're gladly approving a 17.1k CL, but refused to up it to 20k ::)

Churning US airways dividend MC (Master thread?)
« Reply #8 on: June 17, 2012, 08:09:51 PM »
I wanted to start a master thread on churning this card. Seems like a decent card with a decent bonus especially for those who need to cool it with their applications from Chase/Amex
I know it's a risk, as Dan and others have noted that they can play dirty tricks and give you a lower bonus without really notifying you in advance, but that's a risk I am willing to take since I havn't seen too many other reports of this lately and my CR/income is good (BH)
I found this thread on the forums http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=8726.msg104051#msg104051 , but  it is old...
Here's what I know
-It is churnable
-No minimum spend requirement
-$99 companion pass?
-Annual fee waived ($89)
-5k mile discount on award flights while having this card
Anyone churned this card recently and want to share they're experiences?
Does a 2BM reg/biz work?
Thanks

Make sure you use the link that says 60k, cause then you'll get 40k first swipe. Don't use the link that says 40k.

Does a 2BM reg/biz work?

I seem to remember two pulls, not recent.

This kind of question doesn't warrant a master thread IMHO, in fact I'd think the question should've been posted in one of the existing USair CC threads (there's even about for churning).

2 pulls for one app?
Do you remember roughly how long ago this was?

Slightly OT but still relevant, are there any other barclays cards worth applying for?
according to their site http://www.aboutbarclaycardus.com/prodsresource_products.php they seem to have a ton of card offers but are any of them decent?
Thanks

It was over a year ago, and not one app, it was what I quoted:

It's their only decent card IMHO (some others include a 20k LH, VX 15k and EI 5k, nothing to write home about...
