I got the Premier. I think I'd churn this to get the points again, to punish them since they wouldn't give me the 60k (I qualified for 50k).

Yup, when I applied for this card in the past for my wife they gave her a lower card with only a 10K bonus.

I don't think other banks play this game that Barclays plays with giving a much lower signup bonus if they feel like it.

BofA tried to do that with my recent trifecta there, I ended up having to close an older account with them. They're gladly approving a 17.1k CL, but refused to up it to 20k

I wanted to start a master thread on churning this card. Seems like a decent card with a decent bonus especially for those who need to cool it with their applications from Chase/Amex
I know it's a risk, as Dan and others have noted that they can play dirty tricks and give you a lower bonus without really notifying you in advance, but that's a risk I am willing to take since I havn't seen too many other reports of this lately and my CR/income is good (BH)

Make sure you use the link that says 60k, cause then you'll get 40k first swipe. Don't use the link that says 40k.

It's their only decent card IMHO (some others include a 20k LH, VX 15k and EI 5k, nothing to write home about...

When I recently signed up, they had removed the language about the lower sign up bonus. It said that both cards receive the full bonus.
So check the T&C b/f signing up.
