Google Home Mini - what happens if?

What happens if I used the $25 promo credit on Google Express but want to return the Mini to Walmart?

(To be clear, this was NOT my intention when I bought it, but I find that it has very little use to me. I have an Echo Dot that I find to be way more advanced and capable.)

I want to sell mine on ebay, got it free for purchasing a Pixel 2. Is it shipped from Google linked to my account?

ETA: I got the one from Walmart that was on DDMS and based my "no" off that. If you got it directly based off your account your case may be different, though I doubt it.
